If you like prim and hand-dids, drop in and visit Angela's online store, The Country Cellar. She is having a Grand Reopening and is offering 25% off your first order!. Woohoo!

"Vegging" out for the last couple of months is pretty much what I've been doing. Well, except for 3 needlecases I made for a swap over at Backporch Friends, Angela's Yahoo crafting forum. I'll be growing roots soon if I veg any longer! So, it's time to get my rear in gear!
I have signed up for an online class at Quilt University, which begins tomorrow, on Dyeing Cottons with Marjie McWilliams. As if I don't have enough fabric already...now I'm even going to dye my own. This is my first online class experience and I can't wait to begin. I'll be in the comfort of my own home, work at my own pace, and not have to worry about making a mess or spilling over into someone else's space (which I've been known to do).
In a week or so, I have a class to teach at our LQS. A week later, I'm taking a "Photo Mosaic" class at our LQS. I can't wait to cut up millions (okay, maybe thousands) of fabric bits and proceed to fuse them to fusible interfacing. I do like the results, though. DH is taking the same class with me and compares it to putting together a jigsaw puzzle. I think he just likes the attention he gets when he's the only student that is of the male persuasion!
In a month, I'm off to Chambersburg to teach at a retreat in September. No TV, no news, .... I'd say "no phones" but last time I was there we all had cell phones ringing off the hook! lol
But tomorrow? It's just my dyes and me. I'll be sure and post pics of my results!
