...cheesecake, that is. A yummy chocolate cheesecake is what DH baked for my birthday today. Opted for 1 candle on the cake instead of the __?__ (fill in the blank) candles that should have been sitting on top. Didn't want the smoke detector to go off with what surely would have been a roomful of smoke! Yummy and decadent is the only way to describe it and, mind you, I called myself being "good" by not having DH finish the cake with whipped cream florets! I'll need to take some cheesecake to work tomorrow because it will surely send my sugars off the charts if it hangs around here too long. DH also gave me a gift card to the loveliest place on earth....my LQS! All in all, I had a great day. Now, if I could only figure out how to celebrate my birthday every year without adding a year to my age....
