Participants were to hand-make three needle cases, and swap for three made by other members. I made my needlecases from 30's bowtie fabric, fashioned it like a tri-fold, with several pockets and wool flaps for needles. I enclosed a package of needles for each one and sent them on their merry way.
Here is what I got in return: A beautiful pastel yellow, embroidered wool needlecase made by Sandy in Ohio. The other wool needlecase had a more "folksy" look with black buttonhole stitching around all the appliqued wool made by Imi in Holland. A few treats also came with it which were quite yummy. And last, but not least, the crocheted needlekeeper came from Ange, our fearless leader, from Indiana.

Creativity lives! Hope you make time for some creativity today.
