A Project to Share

I've been really enjoying working with paper these last several weeks. It's nice to be able to work on a smaller scale. I'm not sure what it is about paper, but I don't have the guilt about messing up a paper project and tossing the paper as I do when I work with fabric and I goof up.

I entered a contest at my local scrapbook store. The rules were that we had to work with a particular line of paper (We R Memory Keepers' Vintage Blue). We could create a page layout, a card, an altered project -- anything we wanted. I chose to work with a 7 Gypsies Photo Tray and a few pics of my two kids (1 as youngsters and 1 of ea as adults). I am really pleased with how it turned out. First prize will be a $25 gift cert., 2nd $15 and 3rd $10. Voting is going on for the next 5 days.
