Pretty much my patchwork has taken a back seat to paper crafting. I am just smitten with minis. There is nothing better right now than the sound or feel of cardstock, patterned paper and chipboard! What a delight. My stacks of paper are now giving my fabric stacks competition! What was once a room dedicated to sewing has now been overtaken by paper, scrapping tools and embellishments! I love it!
I have finished another mini, this one for my young granddaughter. Mommy says she has really become such a girly girl. When the opportunity arose to make the train mini (another one of Laura Denison's designs), I decided to make the "bug train" version, filled with lots of paper flowers, rhinestones and cute bugs.
I'll be adding pictures of my little ladybug, Mia before sending it to her and wanted to share a few pics here on my blog before doing so. Enjoy!

Alice, so sweet! Thank you for sharing in blogland! I know what you mean, it is a challenge to get the posts up that you want to put up...
But again, it is all for fun! We have to remember that.
I grew up a quilter too!
This is adorable. What a blessed lil girl to receive such a keepsake! Anything you turn your hand to is always perfection.
I can't believe how cute these are! I love it! Love your picnic one too! So fun!
